has a 146k on it. Runs great! Lots of new stuff. Perfect Grocery Getter! $1500 or best offer. Will also take a trade for a 35hp tiller steer outboard in good operating condition.

I believe Phil has it covered to Branson, and the one I posted is from Branson down. The only areas I see missing might be a short area between turkey creek and coon creek. You need a map for the landing?

Smalllies need gravel with current to spawn. The main lake fluctuates too much, plus there is very little gravel below Roark. Its all sticks and leaf debris. The only places for them to spawn is up creeks. Additionally, smallies dont protect the nest very well. The stocker bows eat the brood as fast as it is fertalized. Its a surprise that there are any in the lake at all. Would be a great "put and grow" scenario for smallies.

The rest of the story...mmmmmm Quickly put Night fishing Toledo Bend with Uncle-Moccasin falls out of tree into boat-Uncle unloads a 38-then we head back to the truck with 6+ inches of water in the boat. Oh, by the way, the snake got away!

The floods washed all the tourist eating squid into Bull Shoals. Although, I hear that there have been sightings of them climbing back over Powersite Dam!

Can you post some pics of the boat?

If they fall in the boat, DONT start shooting at them. Will make your fishing trip a bit shorter. <----First hand kmowledge.

I have a 5 foot black snake living in my barn. He is kind of a pet. He eats copperheads for appetizers. But he finds the main course of bunny to be more filling though.

In the winter I will use Rogues for Brownies. In the summer I prefer to vertical jig in 25 to 40 feet of water. With the motor prob coupled with the lake looking like a tossed salad, I havent been fishing for Brownies. Hopefully when I find a replacment motor I can get back out there. It will be some arduous fishing I am afraid. At least until I can figure them out again. If you havent noticed, the water coming out of the Dam has been pretty milky. The Lake isnt as clear on the Lower as it usually is this time of year. I suspect that the channels will stay that way until fall anyway.

To be honost, I only catch maybe a half dozen smallies a year. And that is totally incidental while LM fishing. I almost exclusively find them in the creeks. Where you can find both gravel and current. The population just isnt big enough to make it worth while focusing just on smallies.

Yep! The man in the flesh....so to speak. He also painted the numerous portraits I use as Avatars! I am a HUGE Admirer of his work! As well as have a TON of respect for his knowledge! Currently he is at his summer home in Montana.

River Rumble rained out Bassmaster Elite Series 'River Rumble' Relocated to Tennessee's Old Hickory Lake ESPNOutdoors.com Updated: June 12, 2008, 6:28 PM ET FT. MADISON, Iowa — Recent unsafe conditions on the Mississippi River have prompted BASS to relocate the Bassmaster Elite Series' River Rumble presented by Longhorn, set for June 26-29 and originally scheduled in Fort Madison, Iowa, to Old Hickory Lake and Hendersonville, Tenn. The new event, renamed to the Tennessee Triumph presented by Longhorn, will mark the eighth Elite event of the season and will take place on the previously scheduled dates. Old Hickory, which BASS has visited seven times in its 40-year history, will also host the third event of the 2008 Women's Bassmaster Tour presented by Academy Sports & Outdoors, set for June 19-21. The following week, the Elite Series pros will tackle the spacious reservoir. Tournament waters will also include Cheatham Lake, located just below Old Hickory Dam. The tournament waters are immediately off-limits to Elite Series pros until the official practice period, June 23-25. Co-anglers must observe BASS rules as previously outlined for Elite Series events. Daily tournament launches and weigh-ins will take place at Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville. Launches will begin at 6 a.m. CT and weigh-ins will start at 3:30 p.m. ET. "Our first priority is the safety of all those involved with BASS events," said Tom Ricks, general manager and vice president of BASS. "We appreciate the flexibility of both Fort Madison and Hendersonville and we look forward to hosting events at both locations in the near future. Our thoughts and prayers are with those in Iowa who have been affected by the recent floods." In addition to the top prize of $100,000, pros will be competing for points in the season-long Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year standings, which will award $250,000 to the winner and determine the majority of the 2009 Bassmaster Classic qualifying berths. Tournament coverage from the Tennessee Triumph will air on Saturday, July 5, at 9 a.m. ET on ESPN2. As always, live, streaming video of the weigh-ins and real-time leaderboards can be accessed on Bassmaster.com. On the final day of competition, Bassmaster.com will provide updates throughout the day and preview the weigh-in with Hooked Up hosted by Tommy Sanders and ESPN2 Outdoors personality Mark Zona. "Our community was extremely excited to host a Bassmaster Elite Series event and we look forward to working with BASS on future events," said Jim Noll, tournament coordinator for the Fort Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau. "We are disappointed we won't be able to host the event this year but absolutely agree that safety is the top priority with conditions like these."
