My ex's family have a few ponds that are 100 percent stocked with fish legally caught from thier local lakes and rivers. No signs of disease. Over the decades they have managed to have some of the healthiest populations of fish I have ever seen. Bluegills that will go a pound a piece, Bass ranging from 3 to 10 pounds and cats as big as 30 pounds each. I give the credit to thier success to all the bluegill put in by all the kids each summer. They bring them in by the bucket loads every weekend.

Im with ya DC. This "Air-head" signed name and complained in 3 languages and as 1500 alias'...but I wont ever admit it. Let me know if they ever set a date for that dredging so I can make some lemonade and brownies for the workers. I will be that greatful. Have to admit that it will be nice but wouldnt you know it that it just so happens I figured the trick on how to pull the bass out of that crap. Haha

DC I have the birds eye view of that. Did anyone loose about ten thousand pounds of lumber? I think its all backed up behind my dock! Feel free to come take it home with you. I think its going to take me a better part of a week to push it all out so take your time. Yuck!

Cats will be slow for awhile yet in that neck of the woods. But, I have been told that the smallies in your area are being caught. Specifically the James where the Finley dumps. Just have to catch it between runoffs. That area is hard to fish when the water is high.

You would think that of all places Bass Pro would have decent replica artists. Thanks for the advice Bill, But I wasnt ever entertaining the idea of giving BP one of my fish. I like to keep them within 50 yards of where I caught them. Makes it easier to find them again in the future. HeHe

I heard that if you call Bass Pro, they will come and get the fish if your donating it to thier tanks. They will even pay for your expenses if you need to meet them someplace. Also, in return for your fish, they will have a replica mount made of it for free.

I call them sports, some call them dinks, other call them shorts. Just means small. The Rockaway area is a good place right now for bass. Try flipping the docks with spinner baits. They are holding tight with all the water being generated.

I get up to pomme a couple times a year for the toothy muskies. Usually do best in June and July. Whats the word on the spring bite?

Tourist-Eating Squids are back! I hear they really like Texans. Haha

Did a little jig fishing today in search of brownies. Four bows and zero brownies in 90 minutes so I gave up and decided to hit the shoreline for Bass. Caught 6 sports on tubes and 3 with chompers.

Anytime I can get more daylight in the evenings, I will take it. I think we should have this time configurement year round and then give us all an extra hour of evening daylight in the winter.
