Flysmallie
I just called about Sequiota Park - no fishing. bummer. I was down there last weekend with the kids and saw all of the no fishing signs. I wonder why they closed it to fishing. Did see some bass on nests when we were walking around. And a very fat otter that was eating bread that was thrown out to the ducks. Members brianbarker
I did drive down to Sequiota when someone said they used to fish it and it was closed, and I did see alot of bass in the brush and limbs around the walkway but the biggest one was only 10 inches. Probably wouldn't be worth fishing if you could. Anyone caught anything big out of there before? Members brianbarker
Is Burrell park open to fishing right now? I have heard some say yes and other say no. I have been down there once and the only fish I saw were huge goldfish or koi. I would still try it if it was open for fishing. WebFreeman
No idea on Burrell. It's owned by Cox Hosp. now and I would guess they don't allow it. You could try after hours, but Cox security may run you off. “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design. I've caught some big bluegill out of there and the fish I saw on nests last week weren't huge but probably around 3 pounds. Not a bad sized fish for that little pond.
