bigredbirdfan Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Are these used effectively for brown trount on lower taneycomo? If so any information would be appreciated.
Trav Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Crankbaits work very well. I lean towards colors that resemble baitfish more than Craws. Not very many craws in lower Taney. Too much debris for good craw habitat. So its not that "natural" to see them down here. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
bigredbirdfan Posted July 2, 2008 Author Posted July 2, 2008 My friend's swimming pool was full of them after the flood gates were opened. I guess they came down from table rock to his pool at the landing??

Don Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 I don't have an answer to your question because I'm specifically ingorant on the topic. However, the title of the thread caught my eye. If I ever cut a country music CD, a good name for it would be "Crawdads and Crankbaits". Don Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
