Members Brian Brown75 Posted April 19, 2010 Members Posted April 19, 2010 we as fly tiers tend to like to show off our work... so i thought ii might as well show you guys what ive been up to at the bench as of late. Enjoy the fly!!
Zack Hoyt Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Great tie Brian. I admire anyone who can tie on an eyeless hook. I have a few of these in a frame in my office. Gorgeous and somewhat lost art form. Zack Hoyt OAF Contributor Flies, Lies, and Other Diversions
Buzz Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Great looking fly Brian. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
Outside Bend Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Very cool, that's something I'd love to have the time and patience to do well <{{{><
duckydoty Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Nice work! A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
Terry Beeson Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Nice work... TIGHT LINES, YA'LL "There he stands, draped in more equipment than a telephone lineman, trying to outwit an organism with a brain no bigger than a breadcrumb, and getting licked in the process." - Paul O’Neil
Geoff Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Man i havent tied any of those patterns in YEARS. Maybe i should start attempting them again soon. "When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all."
Randall Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Very nice. I imagine that one is going on display somewhere given the tape on the hook presumably to protect the finish from the vise. What else do you tie? Cute animals taste better.
Members Brian Brown75 Posted April 23, 2010 Author Members Posted April 23, 2010 Hey thanks guys, and randall, this fly will probably be framed, the plastic is just to not scratch the finish on it. I tie jsut about everything, i love these salmon flies and tie deer hair bass bugs
