Hi all. I am Steve from Jefferson County. I live with the Big River in my backyard, so I fish quite a bit there. I have been making a yearly trip with my cousin to Forsythe since 95 which is our walleye/whites trip. I used to get my fishing info from Phil Lilley back then as he would have Bull Shoals reports on his site and sometimes I would email him before I came down. Really wouldn't have mattered as we were going to make the trip anyway. But Phil was always glad to fill me in on the Forsythe area fishing. I have been viewing this board every year around this time to see how the fishing is going and will until we come down in april. Love the reports and pics and love the lake. Nice and quiet. Some years we catch em and some not. We are lucky to catch a few walleye and spend a day or 2 trying to figure out the whites, but is always a great time. The first year (1998?)after they changed from 15 inch limit to 18 inch we caught 60 walleyes but only 3 were over 18. Of course that was out best trip. Had a blast and the water was like 15 or 18 feet over normal. Hope to see some of you in April. Hope everyone catches some and has fun.
