Memorial Day Tradition (A Little Change Of Pace This Year)

This will make, I believe, the 4th Memorial Day morning J-Doc and I hit the water for a few hours.

Usually we just spend the time goofing off, swapping stories, and catching a few fish.

Are the whites active enough yet that we could take a shot at a school?

We normally just go looking for spots / blacks, but I'd love to have one of those "10-15 fish each" mornings - if the white have been schooling.

Anyone have tips?

We'll likely put in at Rocky Branch around 6:00 and be off the water by noon (when the "not-so-to-my-pleasure" boaters start getting out of bed!).

Thanks guys.

If you put in at Rocky Branch motor to the center of the water and throw Keitech's 4'' white on 1/4oz and you should have 50 or 60 hybrids, small stripers and Whites in no time... if they get pushed out just follow them to each cove on the west side.

I was just wondering if anyone has tried throwing 5 of those same swimbaits on an A-rig on those schooling whites? Double triple 2-3 lb whites sounds like fun.

I can promise you that I will be trying this. That's one of the main reasons I bought an A-rig in the first place. :-)

He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
