flyrodman Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I picked up a can of Real Magic at Walmart a few days ago. I used it on my bait casting set up and I noticed significantly reduced line memory and I didn't get a single backlash. On the can it says that it softens and extends line life of mono, braid, and fly line. After my previous incident with Scotch Guard, I am hesitant to put anything on my fly line that isn't tried and tested. Has anyone used this on fly lines and what were the results? moguy1973 Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 The KVD Lure and Line conditioner is supposed to be better than the Reel Magic...From what I've read Reel Magic is nothing much more than WD40... -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
