On one of the mighty Tributaries of the Mayo Ditch here on the farm, Grassy Ditch. Yes, didn't get to try it out the first time on an Ozark stream. We are rained out still, so on our break today, I drove down to the Grassy to try this thing out, had some witnesses as they all had bets if I'd get wet, but my days of running a Pirou came back as I had the sense of balance pretty quick. Don't judge my paddle technique, this was my first time to use a double blade paddle. Wish I had had more time to fish, this ditch may not look like much, but those green weeds near the bank hold a lot of small largemouth and spotted bass, it's where I learned to fish!!

What little I used the Coosa, I loved it. Had it in the high seat postion from the start, very comfortable and stable!!

Also, made a homemade mount for my Gopro out of PVC pipe I had around the shop, looks like it's a decent angle of view..

Good question...lol. I really don't know, feel free to let me know, that was my first attempt at a double blade, I thought that was right, seemed to get the job done.

Yeah, I'd say you got the paddle backwards. The curve on the blades should be bending toward you when you paddle. But, on a positive note you should be able to haul butt should you want to go backwards!

Glad you got it on the water. Can you stand in it yet?

Yeah, I stood some in it the other day, but it's not my preferred way yet, i'm hoping to get it back in on of those ditches tomorrow when it's a bit warmer and practice somemore. I made some casts, but need to get a better feel of it before I do much of that. As far as sitting in the high seat and fishing and paddling, that was very nice!!
