strangercreek Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 What the hell is wrong with this world?..... an eye for an eye
exiledguide Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 In September 1953 two alcoholic criminals from western MO kidnapped Bobby Greenlease murdered him and collected $6000,000.00rabsom. They were caught and both executed in December 1953, I think 91 days after the crime. This guywill not be brought to trial for months or years if he gets the death penalty will spend between 10 to 20 years on death row some stupid woman probably from England will marry him and tour Europe and the USA complaining about the cruel death penalty. He probably won't get the death penalty because he is mentaly challenged or whatever. Too many gutless judges and DAs Look at the gutless PA here in Green County who refused to ask for the death penalty for the piece of pig sh3t who murdered Jackie Johns years ago and only public uproar caused that gutless &%^(*to even bring the guy to trial years after her family told the police he was the killer
Wayne SW/MO Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Many people have been cleared of crimes by using DNA and that is proof, I suppose, that delaying executions has been a good thing. Turn the page and it would seem that any murder proven by irrefutable DNA should bring swift punishment. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Mitch f Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 They say the abductor was a family acquaintance. That's probably the only reason the poor little girl got in the car with him. I can't even stand to think about this, I have daughters of my own and clutch them tighter after I read things like this "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

I was trying to think of that young mans name from Aurora back in the 80's that got railroaded into prison. I think it was DNA that set him free. Finally! All the detectives and DA should be in prison for life for what they did to him!!! ness Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 I was trying to think of that young mans name from Aurora back in the 80's that got railroaded into prison. I think it was DNA that set him free. Finally! All the detectives and DA should be in prison for life for what they did to him!!! That's happening more and more. Google 'Innocence Project' and go to their site. There are some amazing stories out there of people cleared by DNA evidence, and others nailed by it when the cases are reopened. Aggressive prosecutors, incompetent defense counsel, screwball witnesses, wrongdoing on any side. It's not a perfect system. John
Chief Grey Bear Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Yeah but kid was mentally disabled and they talked him into confessing. Jack Jones Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 It's like all things. Everyone has a boss to impress. As a prosecutor, you impress your boss by getting convictions. And, as with any job, folks take shortcuts. It's not right, and it's bad, but it happens. Google all the issues the Brooklyn DA is having lately. What happened to this girl was a horrible tragedy. If convicted upon competent evidence, this man should be punished severely. As a Catholic, I cannot condone the death penalty, but I would like to see him incarcerated.
