Yeah were boys. You caught us. Old boys. There is a good possibility I was fishing before your daddy was born. I fish about 250 days a year or more and have done it here on LOZ for the last 25 yrs. No way he was trying to put down Bill.

Not real sure what your experience has to do with anything, but if you are as old as you say you are then you of all people should realize life is too short to be negative. Totally agree Sore Thumbs. This is a good spot to come and learn about others techniques to maybe help or better ones own technique. Instead of criticizing someone elses tread why not start your own tread and talk about what you wish. Merry Christmas!!!!!

Gosh!, I read and studied Bo's remarks and I didn't see anything controversial, demeaning or condescending in it. He was merely commenting on his personal experience and opinion what works for him. I haven't been on here for very long and don't have much historical data on his previous posts, but from what I got out of it he was just passing on his personal opinions and experience. If that's the case and we are so offended by that, then some of our older experiences shouldn't be ever mentioned and only pay attention to newer techniques.

Sore Thumbs, It appeared you had your guns cocked and loaded for him!!,from another encounter maybe?. If not some of us are awfully thin skinned on here.

Just relooked at this deal, and take no offense at all in what Bo said. I for one know you cannot reflect your tone or your feelings on the internet. I have crossed that line many times, not meaning anything at all. It can be hurtful and demeaning to read something that you assume is an attack and in reality it is not.

Sore Thumbs makes a good point however in if you have a thought that is somewhat negative or not in line with the post you are reading, by golly instead of stating it there, start a new thread, show your spoon and the way you rig and fish it. Give all the pros and cons and let her rip.

I got on that Real Image Spoon about 12 yrs. ago and have caught and released over 10,000 Table Rock bass on it. Got a hunch it falls pretty nice, or I would not be using it. I like bo, basically use 3 colors, Pearl, Chartruse, and Nickle. Seems the Whites like the nickel and the chartruse the best and the bass like the pearl, however all three work great.

Lets move along, I got them bitten on the White River now, Heck with the James.

Just kidding and trying to lighten the mood around here.

Spent the day chasing Whitetail Deer with no luck. The whole time in the tree I kept thinking about this post and how bad I want to go fishing.

I really enjoy spoon fishing so keep the opinions and input flowing! I think I will go tomorrow
