laker67
Dogs used to be tied up in the back yard until it was time for them to go hunt something. What ever happened to real dogs?
Mitch f
No surprise to me, but the guy next door is not cooperating at all with the police, not good for him. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Justin Spencer
I personally have no use for a pit bull. I think they all should be put down. Sound harsh? Every stinking person I have known that has had one all say the same thing, "he's such a baby and would never hurt a flea, I don't know what got into him when he mauled your kid, dog, whatever"! I am truly a dog lover, but just don't see the need for this breed whatsoever. Just my opinion and you can bash if you want. Of all the dog breeds out there this is the one that we all hear about when there is an attack. Some of these people I know DID NOT mistreat the dog or teach it to be badass. I think they are just wired for violence. I guess I would have to agree, sure many of them are nice dogs, but why take the chance? It's not like the breedis a working breed used for anything other than intimidation. Plenty of other good guard dogs that seem to be less dangerous, sorry pit lovers but I don't see their purpose. Jerry Rapp
90%+ of dog attacks reported are pit bulls. Quack, quack, quack.......

Jerry Rapp
Jerry always comes into a conversation and shows his intelligence. That's a person with zero purpose. huh? Common sense. You and OTF will hopefully figure it out someday. Pit Bulls are at the center of most every "dog attacks person" story.
Hog Wally
When I've hog hunted with them I see what they are actually bred to do Unfortunately most people who own them don't get it Eventually they are gonna grab a ( full in the blank) and tear it to shreds Therefore I don't like or trust them I don't care for em. Another vote for put em down
Mitch f
The thing that struck me about the attack was that I learned today was that my brother in law (one of the witnesses) told me that the pit bull had my dog in its mouth for about 45-60 seconds...they were following him around kicking him in the ribs and he wouldn't let go. The neighbor lady who owned the dog is about 100 pounds soaking wet and had lifted the dogs front legs off the ground by the collar twice trying to choke it to let go and it wouldn't. It's a miracle my dog is not dead. Next time it could be one of my children running around a bush.
