Alex Heitman
I bet a lot of people wondered why the forum was so quiet over the last 3-4 weeks. Lots of tight lips because it was so good out there.
mixermarkb
Shhhhh. Stop talking about Bull Shoals. Table Rock is awesome! Best lake ever! And bikinis! It's got bikinis to watch if the fishing slows, which it never does, it's a fish on every cast at Table Rock! There are no fish in Bull Shoals, only carp and gar. BIG, BIG, eat holes in your boat gar!!! They ate all the smallmouth this morning as a matter of fact. Yep ate em all. Only gar left...
Bill Babler
Bull kind of reminds me of a Canada lake where for the most part they could give less than a HOOT about the bass fishing. The fishermen that Phil and I did see yesterday were mostly on the flats trolling or bottom bouncing for Eye's, and the other ones were using minnows or throwing small jigs in the bluff cuts for crappie. Only saw one or two other bass boats all day. The boats we did see were walleye boats both Lund and Ranger or just for that matter 16' amum. v bottoms. fishing the cuts for crappie. Regardless there is plenty of space to roam. We never were cut off, we never had a single location we wanted to fish that I thought anyone else had fished today. It was Nervana. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
willyfish
We used to go down there and stay in the Big Creek arm. I caught my first jerkbait fish there and finished 3rd in a little club tourney when I was around 13. The guy driving the boat won the thing. I have free lodging at the Rock so we haven't been down in a while. It's my favorite lake hands down and I remember times when you wouldn't even see another boat. I know when Palaniuk won down there all the pros said it was just incredible. I love the Rock but that place is on another level and I'm dying to get back to it. Please curb your enthusiasm Mr. Babler.
Sprint21fter
Throw a jerkbait and you will catch all the Eye's you want with bass. Bull is awesome but its just like our other highland impoundments if there is a negative weather change she will humble you in a hurry.
