I had a problem with a Fenwick HMG rod. It is my most favorite all around rod and has caught more fish that I can count. It has a lifetime warranty but they no longer offer this blank. I called around and was referred to Dale Griest at Griest Custom Rods. I took it to him and he repaired the broken cork and retied all of the eyes then recoated the rod and re sealed the remaining cork. It looks like it did when it was new 13 years ago.

He was very reasonable with his pricing. While I was there picking up my rod today he showed me 2 customs he is building. One is Kansas State and the other is Kansas University. They were quite impressive.

If you need to have a rod repaired or want to have a "blingy one custom built" I highly recommend him.
