Area Lake Temps 1-2-2015

Managed to get some temp readings again today, saw plenty of empty trailers at the various marinas in the area. 

As usual, if you want a few details and the map, go here, but for an easy look, see below:

**1-2-2015 Water Temps**

Long Creek Marina: 51.9

Chalets on Table Rock: 50.8

Eagle Rock Marina: 52.2

Dale Cove Launch (near SPM): 52.6

State Park Marina Launch: 52.9

Rocky Branch Public Use: 51.3

War Eagle Marina: 47.3

Will get out James River arm temps in the next few days. Hope the high water is treating everyone best it can.

You sure get around Ben, I hope we get more normal winter water temps, it would be nice to get the water down in the 40s this winter. Thanks again

Are you thinking this 10-day forecast of cooler weather will help out?

I'm no expert but I halfway expected them to be a little cooler than they were with all the water moving in towards the Dam?

They're a little cooler, but not much.
