Upper End Brief Outing 3/25

My internet and cable shows went away sometime during the night Wednesday. I was finally able to contact Cox mid day on Thursday and they scheduled their repair dude for between 10 and 12 Friday, today. BTW they only scheduled a live person visit after more than an hour of trying things by phone, "Would you please unplug the modem, the router, and this time the coaxial cable and wait 2 minutes before you plug them back in?"

That meant I did not fish this morning and by the time the dude (who was quite nice and very competent) fixed the several things that combined to kill my service, I did not get on the water until 1:30.

Once there I noted the weather channel had not quite gotten things right. It was not 60 something and the wind was not SW. I fished between HI and Eagle Rock and the water temps were 51 to 52.

I had three bites in 3 hours. One that felt small came unbuttoned quickly. One was a bluegill. That last was a solid 2+ keeper.

Funny how one good thing can save a day.
