Short report Cape Fair 6/11

Launched at 4:50 am with top water on mind. Tossed around a black on black buzzbait and had 5 keepers on it and a couple shorts. No real size to them, all between 15 and 16.5. I lost that bite around 8:00 and so I started chucking around a 1.5KVD with very little success, maybe 8 shorts on it. By 10:30 I was back on land wiping the boat down. Water temp was 83.0 to 85.0.  Sorry - no pics - not much worth snapping a picture of.

May not have been worth taking pictures but just being out there I'm sure was great. Good to here you got some of them!!

Daughter was down at Cape Fair last weekend and said there was a bunch of dead fish floating around boat ramp she thought they may have been catfish...

I saw a great big carp on the bank, but that was the only dead fish I saw.

Cheese, nice report. Sounds like the early bite on top was fun. We're there many other fisherman up that way during the morning?

M&M - not as many as I expected.  I went up the river and I was almost by myself for quite a while.
