cheesemaster Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Launched at 6:00am this morning by Cape Fair. Like always - I started with a black buzzbait with a gold blade. Only had 1 keeper on that with about 5 shorties. Shelf rock was the best location for me today. I threw some cranks, shakey heads and jigs with only 1 more keeper and another 5 or so shorties. I went down the lake this time and ended up down by point 12. Water temp was 80 - 81 with about 3 - 4 feet visability. Here is the largest of the 2 keepers. I love fishing!!!! big c, Champ188, Daryk Campbell Sr and 8 others 11
m&m Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Cheese, nice picture. Sounds like a good day. Did you see many shad up shallow? Mike

Several shad balls in 25 - 35 feet. I went up the James on Saturday - clear up by Galena - and saw a bunch of shad on the flats. Ben Gillispie 1
