ollie Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 Ok, I read about sharkbites accident but just saw this and I'm thinking what is going on? https://newstalkkzrg.com/2019/07/15/explosion-on-table-rock-lake/?fbclid=IwAR2voURQ8wozVnOIQNNY3JvajUvKojcaNGcI47gP0NOiyPlbKeZkgtT4tuk "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
fishinwrench Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 It happens all the time. This is why I quit working on inboard and I/O (inboard/outboard) boats. They are fire traps. When you take a fuel tank and complete engine system....and then tightly bury it all under upholstery so there is no natural ventilation whatsoever..... don't act surprised when they blow up ! tho1mas, liphunter and Smalliebigs 3
Smalliebigs Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 Wrench ain't lying there......I have seen 2 I/o's incinerate and one time the boat owner fired up the boat while the poor kid at Buzzard Rock Marina @ Barkley was still fueling them and lit the pump up and killed the kid.......friggin waste
fishinwrench Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 And if you were the last guy that worked on it, regardless of how long ago it was...... you'd better lawyer up ! slothman 1
