netboy
I have been seeing fewer sulphurs each day over the last week. I fished an area this morning that was covered with sulphurs and hungry trout over the last few weeks, but there were still a few coming up and the trout were still looking for them. Caught a few on a sulphur dry fly but they really wanted a sulphur colored crackleback stripped in the surface film. Caught a couple dozen including these 2 rainbows.. Biggest was 21". Sulphur hatch was great this year, but appears to be about over. Guess the hopper bite will be next. Ham
It's about time for a really good Hopper bite, but I've caught fish on it in February before so there's that. netboy
Went back to the same area this morning and it was pretty much the same as yesterday with the crackleback being the hot fly. This was the best one today.... nomolites and snagged in outlet 3

Dutch
We used to go to Rockaway every Saturday morning, get there before dawn, catch trout, head home and have them for breakfast. That was good eating. snagged in outlet 3
