When will the rain let up and give the lakes and streams a chance to heal? I spent most of the month of Feb. in the hospital and re-cooperating from some major illnesses so my fishing times were NILL after New Years Day. I took advantage of the nice weather and fished Upper Taney. Since I've been home from the hospital, I think that Taney has decided it would come to me! I'm about 3 blocks up the hill from the normal lake but if it gets any higher, I think I can cast crankbaits off my deck.
1st off, let me admit that I am somewhat a "fair weather fisherman". Since the temps have been below 50* I have not been out. If we get that 60*-70* they are predicting, I may have a fish story to tell.
