Hot line says they stocked today. It also says they are not stocking Alex George due to poor survival conditions. Check out James A Reed wildlife area. They stock Plover or Coot lakes. It's a bit further out but may well be worth it.

My family is going to Northern Idaho, Coeur d'Alene area, the 3rd week in July. We will be staying on Rose Lake just east of Coeur d'Alene. I would appreciate some tips on fishing the area. A recommendation on a fly shop, guide service, how to fish the area lakes... Anything would help as this is my first time to the area and a relative novice (but obsessed) to fly fishing. I went to the lake over the weekend. It was 6 feet low. Docks were sitting on mud. Don't remember it being so low. Why is it so low? When will it come back up?

Seems as though the camera caused a fair amount of excitement. I'm less conserned about big brother than you ole pro's watching this novice. I hate the thought of you laughing at me with my line in a heap in front of me, catching the tree behind me, breaking off on a fingerling, or falling in and losing a nice fish while trying to net it. I'm going tomorrow. What's working?
