Thanks for all your help. We spent 5 hours around the 64 bridge. We didn't have any luck, though. I've only started seriously trout fishing within the last year, so my skills are a bit lacking. ;0)
The drive down from Belton took an hour longer than usual due to the weather. In retrospect, probably should have stayed home. It was very cold. Eyelets and reels kept freezing up. Every time I rigged a different fly I would have to wait for my hands to warm up inside my wool mittens before I could fish. It was serenely beautiful out on the river, though, with big snowflakes coming down and not another person in sight.
Would love to spend a day on the big river when the weather is nicer.
