I'm hoping to do some fishing at the zinc dam weekend after next. Has anyone been down there lately? Catching anything?

I have recently taken an interest in targeting carp with my fly rod. I have read a lot about fishing lake flats for them and was wondering if anyone knew of flats on Lake Tenkiller and Fort Gibson, accessible by land, that could be waded. Preferably on the north end of tenkiller and the south to southeast side of fort gibson.

Thanks. I do have plans to check ou the Arkansas river in Tulsa this summer. I do fish the upper illinois very regularly it is just so heavily used during the summer that i wanted to try and find some other options.

Where on tenkiller do you fish? Are you using a boat? I live in tahlequah and have been looking for new places to chase carp.
