  3. went on a guide trip with mike a few weeks ago. had a great time .learned a lot about fishing bull shoals. great guy, knows his stuff about how to catch walleyes. we ended up with a mix bag of fish and some really nice walleyes. thanks Mike , call him up ind go fishing
  4. wire bottom bouncers with a 1 and a half oz wt half way up the wire ,dragging a lindy rig type worm harness. i guess google (bottom bouncer to get a pic or check cabelas catalog) now that water temps have heated up you will probably have to move out and fish 18-20 ft .did not mark any shallow fish or catch any shallow feeding .hope this helps
  5. trolling bottom bouncers with worm harnesses at 1-1.5 mph 14-18 ft. usually on point slopes and when we would pass by some kind of brush top on the bottom or rock pile.hope this helps .oh and larger ones came at dusk and after dark.
  6. blegills were a little bigger than hand size and walleyes were , two 18-20,one 16, and two shorts.i would post some pics from time to time ,but i am computer illiterate and don'y know how yet.
  7. got off the water at 11;30 today ended up with 2 big tastey LMB's, 6 bluegills and 5 walleyes . it was HOT, water temp was 87-89, and all fish were caught 16-20 feet deep. fished friday pm and sat morning.
  8. Goin to Stockton to try and catch a batch of walleyes Friday pm and sat. I hope we don't burn up!
  9. mud puppy; use a small treble trailer hook sz 12 mustad is what i use or premade by northland tackle that has the rubber coated loop to put on your primary hook . this setup works a whole lot better if you troll them on BB and harnesses that way you don't get hung in the rocks as much.back about two weeks ago we caught 60-70 walleyes and kept 21, check old post titled kansas walleye.as the thermocline establishes you will have to move deeper to get away from most bluegills because the walleyes will be deeper, but the gills will be spawning again. all walleyes we caught were 8- 16 FOW.hope this helps.
