  1. I would suggest using CD rapalas also if fishing from a boat...line size less of a issue and just cast and retrieve with a ultra light rod and reel. Depending on the depth of the water cast let it sink for a few seconds, less time getting snagged on the bottom and more time fishing.(very easy for beginners) I hope you and your family have a wonderful time and enjoy this great trout fishery.
  2. Trout Hollow is another place to stay...dock to fish off of, bait shop, pool, restaurant across the street, and cabins...also Chartered Waters guide service is right down the road if that is something you would be interested in. Good luck and hope you enjoy Taney it is a wonderful place to fish and take the family. (Plenty of stuff to do and great fishing)
  3. Was wondering if anyone uses them and if you like them?
  4. Is fluorocarbon a must for drift fishing and throwing a jig/rapalas? (Have 6 lbs mono on most my rods) also if using a swivel will it hinder my chances? Thank you in advance Bruce
  5. I fish Taneycomo several times a year and spend most of my time fishing the trophy area...mostly out of a boat. I was wondering where the JR Circuit is at have read about it and know it is mostly a wading area with low traffic and lots of nice fish. Thank you in advance and enjoy the weather the bite is on
  6. Hello everyone glad to be apart of a brothern of fishermen
