Letort Hopper

Hi! My name is Andrea, and I'm new to the Ozark Anglers Forum. I've been in Oklahoma since last August and found out I'll be here at least another few years for grad school! So, I figured I would join to learn a few things. Coming from PA, I've been trout fishing all my life and now that I'm living in Vian, I'm so excited there is trout fishing nearby! I've made numerous trips to the Lower Illinois and have been very successful spin fishing but not so much fly fishing. I tie my own flies, but my skills in the art of fly fishing are pretty limited...does anyone have any pointers for fly fishing the Illinois or think they can help?? I can't wait to get going again now that the weather is nice!
