My new wife to be and I would like to try and catch a few smallmouth on the illinois river sometime during the middle of next week. I was wanting to know if anyone could recommend an outfitter for a canoe and such ...I was kind of wanting to fish north of chewey bridge to miss any kind of "recreational" crowds but I am open to any suggestions on where we can catch a few smallmouth...we are not after trophies just some consistent action...thanks for any help you can provide us...
