Thanks to all for the feedback. Doesn't sound like either place would be a bad choice at that time of year. We'll need to hit one of the two this spring and maybe the other in the fall.

I'm trying to decide between a trip to Table Rock or Kentucky lake in late April for some bass fishing with my son. He's 17 and fished a handful of times at a few other spots for bass and trout. Main objective is to have fun and catch and release a lot of fish rather than to hunt for lunkers. I gather that May would be better but I just don't have a window of opportunity open then. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi! Can anyone recommend a boat rental outfit that is near Ha Ha Tonka state park area on the Niangua arm? I vaguely remember seeing something there about 16 odd years ago. Also, any tips and advice on bass, white bass, or crappy fishing in that area over the next week or so would be great. (FYI, anything my son and I catch goes right back in the lake after a picture or two..) Thanks!
