  1. Tomorrow's 60 degree weather is tempting.
  2. Anyone been on the finley in the last week? I was thinking about trying my luck out near the park later this week.
  3. Had my first outing this year on the Finley sat and then again on sunday, caught several decent smallies and a few blue gills. Was really impressed with how clear the water was, seemed to be much clearer than last year? Put in at park and paddled up about 1/2 mile then back down, also tried below the dam on the east side concrete. Also got to test out my new emmrod kayak king, anybody else have one?
  4. Anyone go out on the Finley this weekend? saw several people bank fishing from the park.
  5. Looking forward to hitting the Finley for the 1st time this year, gotta get the Kayak cleaned up this weekend.
  6. I say build a new bridge adjacent to the old and keep the old up for foot/bike/fishing traffic.
  7. Does anyone know where this took place exactly? Is it above or below the Ozark Mill Dam? If its below I assume there's not much we have to worry about if we fish above the mill?
  8. So according to this it sounds like you can access the lake from the banks as long as you are in the high water zone. Story on Lindenlure's enhanced law enforcement presence
  9. How easy is it to put in (solo kayaks) at Greenbridge? Which side do you put in on?
  10. Well we didn't climb up the dam today, water was moving pretty good. We did float down from linden to turner access though. Beautiful day, caught about 15 smallies, 4-5 were over 12". Also caught a nice largemouth near the bluffs. Theres about 2-3 areas where some fresh trees are down that are no fun, but not too bad. Does anyone know how often the ozark mt. paddlers go through and cut up the logs?
  11. Speaking of which... how tall is the dam? Is it short enough to lift your kayak up fairly easy and then climb up the side? Thinking about trying it out on Sunday.
