Center Punch 2

i was awful worried about that fish that brandon caught. after it was released it was fine but not 100 percent. it would swim fine if you got close to it but would not move out of the way of any fly. it would not spook unless it was forced to. we stood by the fish for awhile to try to protect it and the fish came into the shallows right off the bank. it would have been very easy pickins from that point and if the fish was faught again shortly after it might not make it if it gets pulled out of the water and what not. i told brandon that if i was walking the bank and saw a big rainbow like that not knowing the condition i would obviously try to catch it. its part of it and im sure the other guy meant no harm to the fish. just hope its ok darren, did chuck find another dead one???

well since its already on here i guess there is no denying it. i caught it-showed 16 on bogas with net but my net is a little over a lb so am calling it a 14.5 lber. thick male very thick-was short for how heavy it was at 28 inches

congrats on that fish man. i would call you crazy if you would of faught that fish any other way than you did. it was just a stubborn ol female that had a set of football shoulders. you did good on a fish of a lifetime. big fish are tough to revive. it may very well be out there swimming today. if chuck wouldnt have said the measurements i was 100 percent convinced it was the same fish but who knows. As bman has already showed there is more than one quality rainbow in there. i believe more big fish die than a guy realizes. some die even when you do everything right. congrats on a great fish man and dont let anyone take that away.

I gotta give it to them;they were on the ball today. there were 6 guys fishing off the boat ramp with powerbait and were keeping well over their limit(10 fish on one stringer that was recovered) and all were in the slot limit.they incredibly showed up maybe 10 mins after they were called and was able to catch them in the act. i have to be honest, i was expecting them to get away because in the past it would take well over 2 hrs for them to show. im glad they got them now instead of having them return again and again and take fish. also it was good to see you rick and leonard

After losing my password, switching computers, moving twice, and getting married, i am finally back. I still dont have a computer but at least i can use other computers for now. The important thing is now I am here and we can get this party started
