Did this trip last Sat. didn’t drag canoe any. Put on 1pm and pulled into Greers about 8pm (stop and rest/fish lots). Didn’t see any other human beings on the river. Having my two young boys (9 & 6) with me couldn’t fish it hard, but did manage to catch about 10 smallmouth,(all small ones) my 6yr old caught his first fish of his life (bigger than any of the ones I caught) then turned around and caught another on his next cast. After doing this section I would recommend blowing by the first 4miles and spend more time along the later 4 miles, it’s much nicer. Tim
