im heading over below bullshoals in late sept.any suggestions on flies to try ?been reading looks like hoopers and nymphs r doing well

thanks zack , i will be on the water wensday through monday hope to see u out there . i fish the trophy area some but generaly stay below parkers bottom in a green colorado pontoon .

new here and i try to fish the lower ill.when i can ,have done pretty good on small nymphs with small droppers, san juan worms ,scuds, and copper johns .i tie my own and have seen a few post about a fly called a bob white just wondering if anybody would give the recipie out ?if so thanks !! the family vacation is the week befor the fourth of july heading over to the beaver tailwaters for six days just hope the water is fishable .6&7x fluoro. and small midges normaly do good there going to try some sow bug patterns .last year i caught some fish that were fat as can be and still had a sow bug deep in thier mouth.
