    I like the fly almost as much as the music. I've been perusing the creative commons websites for the classics remixed as dubstep and digging them a LOT lately.

    In my partially educated legal opinion you should request transcripts of any communications between your lawyer and the PA to "make an informed decision as to whether to precede to court or not" then fire your lawyer and precede pro se. The PA will rule in your favor based purely on stare decisis. I'll only charge you one of the Benji's you get in the mail. (joking about the money only)

    The honor is ours, Pops. That is a great photo. On fiberglass too iirc? I will never forget that trip on the NFOW. Ever. And I still owe you guys a trip when I am better on the oars. If I can get a couple of dummies local boys here in Springfield to run down there with me a time or two for me to practice while they catch some fish we will be good to go come spring time. The days, really unfortunately just short trips, spent bluelining with the Hippie were also high on my list of memories this year. Here are a couple days represented with pictures. One similar to the photo of yours: Hookset! The last day of 2011 we picked up 5 of these on 5 consecutive casts: The creek which shan't be named.

    Seems to me that no matter how long you have fished, no matter how many, how frequently or how big of fish you have caught it's the days you don't catch and the fish you miss that keep you going back just as much as the ones you do catch.

    Also I have been looking at 15wt rod kits. Does the director of assumed tournament plan on banning the Alabama rig? I would like to know in advance so I can decide whether to go through with purchase of said 15wt rod building kit.

    Surely you know that we are unstoppable due to Wrench's fishing and my sabatogery. I am almost as good at sabatogery as I am at making up words.

    Most Tenkara are pretty supple. They will handle a big fish depending on your definition of big. It's a pretty good feat to land anything close to 20" really. They are a small stream small fish rod for the most part. I get the nostalgic and traditional aspects of the game but like others have echoed, I don't want to hook into a fish of the year type fish on a blueline and get my butt handed to me. However I do like the style of Tenkara, so I built a ten and a half footer so I can fish with a high stick and short line when I want. But I can also give a fish room to run when it needs it and cast across a river. Well I still can't cast across a river but the rod is capable... I might get one some day when the fad has passed and cheap used rods can be had. Until then there are too many other rods atop my build/buy list.

    You know I am game. (but it looks like the others know how unstoppable we would be) I'll give you my /50 of the control. You bet there will be. Let me know what your fancy is and I'll even bring ya some. You know, since we have disagreed before I will bring ya some so you won't quit the forum, it'll be akin to holding hands and singing songs, figuratively speaking.

    Definitely. NOT an Alabama rig. It is a nymphing technique that utilizes heavy flies to get to the bottom and requires to angler to drift the fly at the same speed of the current rather than the current carrying the fly. Although multiple fly rigs are often used it's not on a fixed, heavy wired umbrella rig.

    Yeah, it's a great podcast about a topic a lot of people feel strongly about. No one ever said that it wasn't. I was only concerned about the spam, which I think is a violation of board rules too.

    It was 54 minutes long counting the commercials the reason why he always spams the forums. What else was I supposed to do while I listened?

    With those ingredients you call that pure, eh? Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. The first one wasn't spam, but #2 and #3 met the criteria for sure.

    I enjoyed his podcast too. One of my favorites was the one with Johnny Morris. That doesn't mean he should spam them everywhere.

    Me too. But we didn't start multiple threads with the exact same content. That is spam in the purest sense of the word.
