  1. I was merely pointing out that his idea was misled about having a greater chance at being hit by a drunk driver. You see I tend to look into things before spouting off at the mouth about a subject I know little about. (Not that you where Al) I was intrigued by Al 's assumption about being killed by a drunk driver is statistically greater then maybe having to defend yourself from violence. So I decided to post some stats. You however can judge someone through a few words on a computer screen and make assumptions about his character I stand in awe of your skills of deduction.
  2. Timmy, you are so far off the mark your not even hitting the paper. Good try though. Lets see if I can try that about you. Based on your texts so far you're: 1) probably slow witted 2) definitely hyper sensitive 3) likely to be a balding fat man.
  3. What the hell is a piece? Did we slip into a bad 70's cop movie or something?
  4. Al...the numbers I see are showing you have a better chance of being the victim of a violent crime. According to the FBI's national crime statistics, 1.2 million violent crimes were committed in the United States in 2010. In perspective, you are (when compared to being killed by a drunk driver:) 28.77 times more likely to be killed by a sober driver 13.52 times more likely to die from a fall 8.52 times more likely to be poisoned 4.57 times more likely to die from an injury at work 3.66 times more likely to drown 2.92 times more likely to choke to death 2.34 times more likely to die while under a doctor’s care
  5. Only if it's really sharp. There is a three day waiting period...followed by a class that cost $150 and a licensing fee of $65...then you have to remain certified in good standing for 3 years...then you can renew your license after being cleared by a panel of ninjas.
  6. Didn't forget...know that one well. The harder one studies the bible the more contradictions one finds. The harder one tries to understand the bible the more truth he is lent.
  7. Al...loaded question or not. The simple fact is you never know. High crime...no crime...back ally at midnight...or noon at a family business....I don't try and predict the future.
  8. "I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword" (Gospel of Matthew 10:34) "He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one." Luke 36
  9. Statistically defensive shootings happen within less than 10 feet and last for an average of 3 rounds fired. I agree, repeal it.
  10. Here you go again if you missed it.
  11. I didn't ask what you could do to prevent it...I asked what you would do to stop it. This implies that it is unavoidable.
  12. I guess then, you would have to be carrying a firearm of some sort to accomplish this. You must be one of those gun toting, small minded, ill tempered people I have been reading about. You must have dreams about the gunfight playing out in your mind. I hope you are qualified to have a firearm.
  13. Really Smallie? Can you answer the question or not?
  14. I guess not. So in all the hullabaloo...it really boils down to if you can answer this simple question.
  15. It's a two for one. Spelling police and a grammar cop.
  16. Ok Timmy, whats your point?
  17. I am sure in time...and a little counseling ness will find a way to forgive me.
  18. In all seriousness. Question: How do you stop a bad guy using a deadly weapon intent on doing you harm?
  19. I guess. I swear... you guys are like children. The only thing I find funny is your lack of reasoned thought and assumptive nature.
  20. Are you trying to say all ccw people are like this or just the black ones?
  21. Come on Wrench...I was just beginning to like you. No matter, I am sure that someone will pick up the torch of "illogical conclusions and grand assumptions" and run with it for you. Thanks for playing.
