Coosa weighs 60lbs. Correct me if I am wrong but that's not considered heavy for a 11 ft Yak is it?

Yeti's are bad to the bone, too bad I will probaly never own one. Too rich for my blood.

Could you elaborate further on some of the things you have heard that were not good about the Coosa? Whatever brand I buy, I don't want to be disappointed. Thanks Darren

If you live near Springfield Missouri, Dynamic Earth rents their Kayaks for $15.00 a day. That is where I was able to check out the Coosa.

I am in the market for a yak to use on streams and rivers in the area for fishing, went to Dynamic Earth today in Springfield and checked a few out. The Jackson Coosa really caught my eye, do any of you own one? It has some really nice featues and looks like it would really fit my needs. They had the Tarpon too and it is a really nice rig. looking for some feedback on the Jackson Coosa.....anyone/ Thanks

We love the Elk and Noel . but if there is one thing I would like to see down there it would be more cabins close to the river. Where is the lower access located?

Do any of you fish for smallmouth on Capps? I have never been down there but I go to Monett often for work and would like to wet a line down there for a little bit between trains.

I 2nd Falcon. I have about 10 or so of their rods and have had good luck with them.
