Fished from the bank for just a few minutes on the gravel bar downstream from twin bridges where Richland Creek comes in. No whites for me - just one nice 19-inch walleye. Several people were catching them. I saw several people leaving with stringers of white bass as well.

No kidding. I've also found some humps, stumps, and shallow points that I can't believe I've been flying over in the boat!

Well I saw a couple of boats fishing for stripers with ballons out in the mouth of Monte Ne cove yesterday. I hope they had some luck. I didn't.
