Where is the best spot to camp near the dam with electric hook up? I would prefer something on the lake side of the dam where the kids can swim.
Thanks
I am trying to plan a family camping trip to Colorado and I am needing some help. Of course, I am wanting to camp in proximety to some good flyfishing.I have an option of going the third week in June or second week in August. I am leaning toward August since I suspect that water levels would still be high in June from runoff. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on where to go. I will be pulling a camper trailer so I can't get too remote, although obviously I could make short drives from camp to fish. Any inpit from others experiences woulod be of great help. Thanks.
Thanks guys. Sounds like I should tie some of each. So, some with bead, some without, some with lead, some without,#6,#8,#10, black, sculpin, white, brown, etc. I had better get busy!
Do you guys fish your woolies with or without a beadhead? I usually fish with but if they are just as effective without, I am not sure it is worth the extra expense. I am tying up a bunch and I am contemplating tying them all without.
I have a pair of their Riverguide model for fishing and a pair of their insulated waders for duck hunting. Each of them are comfortable and have endured many hours of use/abuse and I have yet to have any problems. I would highly recommend them(especially for the price).

I am heading down to Taney on Monday to Flyfish. I have always just wade fished below the dam but I am debating taking my boat. Is the flyfishing out of a boat below Fall Creek worth pulling a boat down and loading/unloading by myself? Just thinking about trying something different but I don't want it to be a waste of time and be stuck with a boat on the truck with nowhere to leave it if I decide to wade.
Thanks
I was at BSD and they did turn the water off at midnight and as of 10am when I left they still were not generating. I can see why you are concerned. We do need more accurate info, especially when we are driving 3hrs to fish.
