I have never used Y2K's.. Just wondering what kind of color combo you all use on your Y2K's? Are they usually really contrasting colors (Chartreuse/Black or Chartreuse/Red) or more of a closer match (Cheese/Row or Peach/Row)?

I am headed to PB2 ramp this weekend to take my son crappie fishing and wanted to get some minnows.. Can some one tell me where I can find minnows on that part of the lake. I am coming from Columbia.

Just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your advice.. It was a lot of fun. Fishing could have been better but all in all it was a good time and as was mentioned it was more about the company then the fishing any way.

I have never been to Roaring River nor have I ever fished opening day at any park but for some reason I have the wide hair to try it out this year. Does any one have any advice on what to use and maybe where to fish at with in the park? I would love to fly fish but I am not sure the crowds will allow it so information on both fly's and any other lures would be nice.

I would go down to the Current and fish out side the park.. Should be able wade that part at least and from what i can tell they haven't had as much rain down there.

I fish both Shaky and drop shot all over the place. I have caught good limits of fish on both Lake Ozark and Truman as well as Bull and Table Rock.. They both work best in the spring and fall in clear water lakes for me. But that does not stop me from using a drop shot rig in place of a Carolina rig... I use it in the same places I would use a Carolina rig. I use light Line and Spinning rigs for both. It just make it a lot easier to cast a light rig when the wind is blowing.
