Like the title says, these are just some photos that I've snapped while out bank fishing. I seem to do more fishing than catching these days however sometimes having the freedom to be out enjoying God's creation can be just as rewarding.
These two were taken early morning @ beaver creek.
Empire park with the family:
Sunrise @ Kdock:
Walleye caught on upper bull shoals:
Headed to shadow rock park:
The next three is what I believe to be barker hole:
Just a pic of table rock on a nice summer day:
And last just about the most awesome sunrise ever:
I have always been told that the worst smelling bait always produces the best results. Is this a good rule of thumb? I have some chicken livers that I put in handy little sacs and garlic salt that I didn't end up using and have been sitting outside the back side of the shop since last October I think, it could be longer. Just wanted to get some opinions on if this would be a good idea to use or not. Thanks in advance!
White bass are definitely in beaver creek, went out yesterday afternoon/evening everyone around me was catching them except me lol. Not sure if they are still there with the rain and the temp change but i know they were in there yesterday.
thanks, it was about 19". I went out again a couple late afternoons ago and caught two more but both were way to small to keep. but always fun to catch
just an update on going out the other night. I caught one trout it was extremely windy so we packed it in early because the temp started dropping drastically. might try again this weekend when its warmer.
What little information I can give I'm more than happy to help out. All the tips and such i have learned on here has benefited me greatly. Right now i'm waiting for the branson tourism season to pick up so i have more time on my hands than anything. I can't think of a better way to spend it than down at the lake I'm going back down there with my friend tonight i'll add on to this post what we come up with.
I have a friend that fishes with me regularly and he told me that someone told him that a couple weeks ago MDC had released two walleyes with a reward tag of $10,000 each on them. I haven't found anything on the web to confirm this, but wanted to bounce this off of the experts here and see if there is any truth to this very fake sounding story.
