i enjoy fly fishing for trout and fishing for crappie walleye and catfish i also love to hunt deer turkey and small game also huge kansas city chiefs fan
went down below the dam today went to go walleye fishing but chould not keep the crappies off my line so i started fishing for them had a great day on crappie me and my dad got our 30 and a few whites no eyes though
i am going down to the river for the first time i was wanting a few hints if anybody can help me out i will be going the first week of september staying at the river of life any help would be great
the cats in lakes are biteing good right now manily from the shad die off you want to fish around the banks along flats were the wind is blowing in too the bank the wind will blow the dead shad to the bank that is the best bet right now until the water warms up hope that helps
i got to go down there today i was rained out of work it was really slow today caught 4 hybrids but no size it is funny how they can shut off like that i fish mostly in the old channel they were running alot of water but it weired the water was swurling alot but i think after this cold front gets past us in a couple of days it will pick up dont think i will be able to get back down for a week or two so good luck to you all
I went down sunday with two boat loads of people with 6 guys we caught 15 hybrids over 18in 9 eyes 7 being keepers largest geing 26in i cant tell you how many whites but alot we put most of them back we were from boats but the banks were packed better get there early
went to the dam on sunday got down there around noon was a little late got there when they had slowed the water down the turned it back on about 2 hours before dark and it got good me and my buddy caught 15 stripers/whites and 2 eyes one eye was 5 pounds both were males so the males are there the sows will not be far behind
