Hey all. Had better expectations for a good day fishing than what i got. Put in at the Greenfield access about 9:30 and fished till about 2:30. Water was up and muddy. The temp varied from 45 to 50. Overall I think it averaged out at about 47 degrees. Caught 1 crappie the entire trip and even it wasn't a keeper. measured 9 and 7/8 inches. Just enough that i couldn't stretch it to legal size. So I am thinking about trying again later in the spring and let the water clear a little and get a little warmer and see what happens. Well good fishing to you all.

Hey everybody, heading out saturday to see if the fishing is on. Putting in at the greenville access and looking mostly for the white bass run, but will be trying for a few crappie also. Anybody thats going to be down there, give me a shout. would like to put some faces to the names on here and probably swap some stories.

Good morning everybody, Thanks for all the replies. now i have at least a place to start and it looks like i need to start scouting some areas about now. i'm sure the water temp needs to come up a little still but it shouldn't be long. Again thanks everybody for the ideas and help

Huckfinn, Thanks for the info. I usually fish Grand lake OK, and the spring river arm for the spring white bass run but this year i am wanting to work more of the missouri lakes. the oklahoma run usually starts around the end of FEB or the first of March, so was wanting to know if that is close to the same on stockton. Thanks again.

Hey all, new to the forum and was wanting any help in locating the white bass on Stockton lake. I usually put in at Greenfield access, so is this a good area or do i need to look elsewhere. Thanks for the info
