Put in a Crabtree about 1100 hours. Started to back the boat in and noticed someone had thrown about 4 handfulls of sheetrock screws on every ramp but one about 4 feet into the water. Who ever did that does NOT know how lucky they are that I didnt see them do it. They would have been at the ER having them removed surgically. (Yes I did notify the core and they removed them ASAP). Got launched and headed to the dam. What a mistake... The wind was dangerous so we had to leave the area before it blew me into the rocks. Went to the quarry and boated one keeper LM on a green chomper. no other hits. The water is very clear every where we went and 47 to 48 degrees. Fished the east side from the launch to the next cove and were throwing crappie jigs, chompers and rogues but boated nothing. I found them just off of the points about 25 feet down but they had lock jaw. Sorry I cant give you guys a better report. Good Luck

Put in at CC on Sunday 02/27/2011 and the trip was a huge disappointment. Water temp was 49 to 50 degrees everywhere I fished and muddy. There was absolutely NOTHING stirring on the surface anywhere in sight and started looking for the suspended shad. It was hard to find suspended shad but was able to find a few clouds on my graph where they usually are. I jigged all around and below them but not a single fish. Then started throwing Rattlin Rogues in 25 feet of water with no luck. Finally started the green chomper on the south side near the bridge and missed 2 before finally boating a 14 incher. This fish looked horrible as it was skinny and very pale with not much color. I would give it a couple more weeks at CC area.

I have been checking this place out for awhile now and thought i might as well join. I felt a little guilty reading everyones reports and not submitting my own for someone elses benifit. Im a local boy for the past 48 years and grew up fishing everything big enough to hold water in SW Missouri. I have been fishing Stockton, Tablerock and Taneycomo for 30 years.
