Thank you all for the wonderful suggestions! I did not know about DRC but I am definitely taking him and his little sister (4) now! I honestly am getting more pumped reading about it than my own fishing adventure! Blue Ribbon Fly shop is a must now as well. Thank you again, and I'll post pictures when I get back! By the way, used to (15 years ago) guide down in the Marshes of Louisiana, so if anyone is looking to score a RED/SPEC while chasing the mullet, fly or not, through the marshes let me know and I'll point you to some spots! Hello, I am planning a camping trip to the Bull Shoals State Park on the White River next week for a little fly fishing. I fished the White about 15 years ago(first time fly fishing) before I joined the service and it was a blast! Honestly one of the best fishing trips of my life. 15 years later and 7 deployments later, Uncle Sam has stationed me relatively close to get back to the White River. I am bringing my 7 year old son with me and we plan to wade fish for anything that will bite. Looking for recommendations what fly to fish, where to buy flies, and any other advise you guys can give me. I know a little about the water flow system as I found out the hard way to listen for the horns; however, flies, rigs, etc I have forgotten. Thank you all in advance. John
