This was the first time I have ever fished Taneycomo, so I dont know whether it was good or not, but I had a good time and caught some fish. Only caught one on tuesday, but managed to get three on wednesday. All on tan scuds. Im still new with fly fishing but i think Im getting the hang of it. Prettiest rainbow Ive ever caught (also the first).

Are any of these waters fishable without waders? I do have access to some if they are needed. Thanks for all the suggestions so far!

I will be going to Missouri next week and was wondering if anyone knew any areas around Branson that would be good for a beginning fly fisher to catch some trout? Size really doesnt matter, but I would like to have a decent chance of catching a trout, and maybe avoid a huge croud if possible. Being from Kansas, I rarely get the opportunity to catch trout, so I am really looking forward to this opportunity! Thanks!
