Pretty interesting stuff. I read the Chinese are putting in a plant on the Illinois River to process the Asian Carp and ship them back to China for food. They have the support of local cities and are investing millions of dollars. Just too bad we couldn't do this ourselves. If we wouldn't eat em I don't think cats are that picky. Guess if it helps eradicate them it would be OK but the Chinese likely know that's not possible.

Thanks, I've had lots of feedback on how dangerous it can be with the sandbars, muck and quicksand. My brother and I played around quick sand holes down by the river also. He did get stuck to the waist one day and i had to use a stick to help pull him out. -
I was sent a picture of carpet in a fishing cabin that had one of the squat containers of gulp leak into it. Looked like it was dried out and ruined the carpet. The owner had to take it up and try to hide it under a bunk. Just put the fishing lure in jars with good lids and you'll be OK.

Have any of you had a sand bar collapse under you? A friend of mine went under water for half a block when the edge of a sand bar unexpectedly broke off under his weight. It threw him into current and he was lucky to touch bottom so he knew which way was up. He thought he was done for. -

At first i thought this guy was Rabid but realized he was hungry. This was probably his meal route after dark. It had rained all day and was overcast. He was right at 24" based on the 8" brick on our house. When they get this big they're not afraid of anything. Enjoy, WillCFish

These come in a couple brands and measure about 3.5". Give em a try. WillCFish

UV reflective clear coat may give fishermen the edge. Try spraying your lures with this and see if it works. Studies on wind turbines show that birds see UV rays at 320 to 400nm. We see UV at 400 to 700nm. Birds with vivid colors reflect more UV to attract mates. What do you think? Good Luck WillCFish
