    THe closest place is Dons Bait if you take the first left on a hillon hwy 32 toawrd masters(there is a blue house at that Country road) just past fair play and go to where it Ts on to VV then take a right he will be the first site on the right. You will see alot of campers in a camp area that is Dons.

    I was wondering if anyone would like a fishing buddy to the lake. i would pay part expenses and have my own baits/lures. I just dont have the space or a chance to have a boat. message me back and i will give my # so we can talk. good luck to all. i live in springfield and can meet at any part of the lake. my best options are every other weekend but hten again there are times during the week that i would be available as well

    I hear the wind will be gusting pretty good today. i was wondering how that will effect the shallow fish. I am hoping to hit stockton mid afternoon today before the front comes thru. Will the fish stay shallow or will i have to go fish deeper.

    i was just wondering when people were out crappie fishing if they preferred minnows or grubs. i use both and i seem to have more luck with plastics.

    with my experience at river fishing real/fake worms work, minnows work, then if u find a nice deep hole for cats then the chopped bluegill/shad or stinkbait

    has anyone fished the area straight across from the crabtree launch, if so is that a good area for bass or crappie. Also when cat fish season comes any suggestions on to where to go for that.
