sweet thank you very much. So is there a point that I should know not to go past because of sicks,shallow water ect? What are the best flies and retrieve methods for this type of year. The only thing I have really done is floated egg flys. I believe theres a public boat ramp right by bass pro correct? Thanks again for your help

Hello guys I have a pretty dumb question for you guys probley? I am from kansas and do a lot of boating on table rock and last year my dad and I took a fly fishing trip with guide and I absoulty loved fly fishing although I suck lol. My question is I see a lot of people fishing around the branson landing and the bass pro area, are they catching trouth that far up the river? I was wanting to do some fishing this weekend and at this time the only boat I have is my big 20ft ski boat so will i ok fishing lake taneycomo out of that big boat?
