We had over 5 inches (the rain gauge was full) of rain on the river at Gassville and a skif of snow and ice. The White looked like the muddy Mississippi last evening and was up about 3 feet without any generation. A good time to go for big browns. You motor up behind them using a depth finder and reach down and grab them, they never see ya coming.

According to the tech he was talking about several places on the river not just at the dam.

The corps is using the USGSC to check the DO content. I saw one of their techs below Bull Shoals Dam several weeks ago working on the equipment and had an interesting conversation. According to this gentleman the difference in the DO content with no generation or full generation is insignicant at the present time. He said the only difference they have measured is the temp of the water changes with more generation. ?????????????
