Fished the OMA tournaments on Saturday and Sunday. Our main pattern was pitching blue/black tubes on the outside edge of the bushes. It was slow fishing because we could find what structure the fish were keyying on. Fish an entire cove and the fish would be located one or two spots. Our problem was the size of the keepers. 16' bass that wieghted only 1.5 pounds. Had 12 keepers all day. Wieghted in 8.72 pounds. 15.2 was first place.
Sunday, we fished the same areas but the fish were better size. Fewer bites. Same pattern, finished in 2nd place with 14.37. First place was 17+ pounds.
